A backhoe, silent at the end of the day is a reminder of the icy north and the stillness it can bring, creating great silhouettes for us shutter bugs. Winter brings the sun low in the sky all day long. It's a bit odd to get use to. This was actually taken near Rainbow lake in Alberta. My job takes me there from time to time
